A late deafened male, unable to gain employment for over eight years despite marketable skills
Larry came into our Employment Development Department office and worked with a Job Placement Coordinator to polish up his resume and cover letter. He then submitted applications to our network of employers. Our Coordinator worked with him in practicing for job interviews and provided interpreters for interviews. Larry got a job at a major nationwide telecommunications company, and our Coordinator worked with the employer by providing communication access workshops for their staff.
