ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under the supervision of the Director of Human Services, the Outreach Coordinator will:
QUALIFICATIONS:
Applicants with a B.A. degree or equivalent experience desired. Candidates must possess strong management skills. The ability to maintain a positive working rapport with funding sources and ensuring contract compliance is a must. Candidates must have an excellent understanding of the relationship between programmatic and budgetary components of each project. Excellent projection planning is a must. Applicant must have good public speaking skills. Applicant must have the ability to work with deaf persons of diverse multi-ethnic population and with widely varying communication skills and language levels. Knowledge of laws governing the rights of deaf and hard of hearing individuals is a must.
