Caption Action 2: HR 3101 – How is it Important for Us?

Caption Action 2 is a blog that is following the “second round bout” with the congress about captioning videos and the accessibility for the disabled on the Internet. With support of the Coalition of Organizations for Accessible Technology (COAT), an alliance whose primary goal is to ensure that people with disabilities are not left behind as technology moves further into the digital age, the NY Daily News reported on Sept. 1, that in the month of September, when congress came back from a break, health care reform isn’t the only important issue on their plate. The H.R 3101 has worked its way onto the Congress’ plate, making noises on how important Internet communication and video access are to the disabled community in this country.
